BECKLEY -- The Sam's Club in Beckley hosted its annual Children's Miracle Network Tailgate Halloween.
Thousands of kids showed-up to show-off their Halloween costumes and collect some candy.
Long lines snaked their way through the parking lot with more than 40 local businesses and organizations setting the pace.
Children's Miracle Network collected donations.
All of the money will be given to the WVU Children's Hospital in Morgantown. "We are so excited to be here in the Beckley area. Actually in 2008 we had over 300 children from this area treated at WVU Children's hospital so it's exciting to see everyone out here tonight supporting Sam's Club and Children's Miracle Network," said Lora Edgell, Children's Miracle Network WV Director.
There were costume contests tonight for newborns up to 12 year olds.
There were even a few competitions for pets.
This is the second year for the Tailgate Halloween at Sam's Club.
Last year, the event raised $1,500.
