A suspect is in custody after allegedly leading authorities on a chase that reached speeds of 90 miles per hour.

POWHATAN, Ohio -- According to Ohio State Highway Patrol, a man was arrested after a high-speed chase on Route 7 late Sunday night, Dec. 20.
The chase began in Powhatan with speeds reaching 90 mph before the car was stopped on Route 7 near the Interstate 470 interchange.
According to authorities, Wayne Rector, 49, of Adena, was driving with a suspended license.
Powhatan, Shadyside, Bellaire, Martins Ferry, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol were involved in the pursuit.
Rector is charged with two counts of non-compliance, reckless operation, failure to comply, driving left of center, and obstructing official business.
No one was injured.
