One Person Injured in Harrison County Accident

The accident happened on Interstate 79 near Lost Creek.

LOST CREEK -- The West Virginia State Police are investigating an accident that sent one person to the hospital.

It happened at about 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26 on Interstate 79 north near Lost Creek.

Firefighters say the man was driving to Pittsburgh when he lost control of his car.

The car rolled over several times and ended up in the median.

He went to United Hospital Center in Clarksburg with minor injuries.

The accident reduced northbound traffic to one lane.

Crews from Jane Lew and Lost Creek along with Harrison County EMS responded to the scene.
