PRINCETON -- A big celebration was held at the CASE Commission on Aging in Princeton on Tuesday, Nov. 24. Seniors from across the county showed up for their annual Thanksgiving Dinner and entertainment.

From turkey to dressing, even homemade deserts, the menu was endless.

Organizers of the event say it is a great opportunity to get seniors out to enjoy a fun day of interaction. Tanya Williams, an administrative assistant, said the entertainment was a big hit.

“They’re loving it, we had clowns out earlier from Pikeview and they really enjoyed it,” said Williams.

The Commission on Aging is hoping to have another big event in a few months. They hope to hold that event close to Valentine’s Day.
