A little girl in the Ohio Valley needs your help.

St. Clairsville, Ohio -- A blood drive in honor of Aubrey Brooks, of Powhatan, is scheduled for Nov. 24.

Brooks is living with a rare genetic condition that causes extreme sensitivity to light which causes scarring and blisters and enlarges her spleen, liver and causes kidney failure.

You can donate blood on Nov. 24 from noon until 6 p.m. at REScare in St. Clairsville.

Cheek swabs can also be done to see if you are a blood marrow match for Brooks, who needs a transplant.

The blood donations will help patients throughout the region.
