The program will help elderly people this Christmas.

By Dani Brake

BRIDGEPORT -- Garfield's Restaurant in the Meadowbrook Mall has teamed up with the Harrison County Senior Center to make Christmas a little brighter this year.

Garfield's will offer the Golden Angel's Program.

The program targets primarily home bound and elderly people with limited to no family support.

Each angel has a list of three items that person needs.

Customers can pick an angel, purchase and wrap the gifts, and return them to Garfield's by Dec. 9, so they can be delivered in time for the holidays.

This sounds like a great idea. I hadn't heard of it. Wish more about it was publicly known.
