Investigators are looking for witnesses.

MORGANTOWN -- The Morgantown Police are investigating an early morning fight that left one man seriously injured.

The fight happened around 3:10 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Dairy Mart on Willey Street, police said.

When officers arrived, they found a man lying unconscious in the the parking lot, according to a police department press release.

Witnesses told police that five to seven men attacked three other men, leaving the one seriously injured.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen the fight or who knows anything about it, to call them at (304) 284-7522 or (304) 284-7454.

There was no update on the injured man's condition Sunday morning.
