Harrison County Announces More H1N1 Shot Clinics

Two clinics will be held next week.

CLARKSBURG -- The Harrison-Clarksburg Health Department has announced two more H1N1 clinics.

The first will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 10, from 2 to 6 p.m., at the Harrison County 4-H Center, on Route 19.

Anyone who is 64 years old or younger, with chronic medical illnesses like: diabetes, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, weakened immune system, anemia or other blood disorders, is eligible to be vaccinated.

A second clinic will be held on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Robert C. Byrd High School.

Children 12 or younger will be eligible for shots at this clinic.

Anyone who meets the following requirements can get an H1N1 shot, at the health department, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.:

Health care providers, emergency workers or pharmacists.
Pregnant women and their immediate families.
Caregivers for children younger than six months.
Children ages six months to six years.
People ages seven to 24 who have chronic medical conditions listed above.
