BECKLEY -- Nearly 40 decorative holiday trees are on display at Crossroads Mall. The "Wonderland of Trees" festival opened to the public Friday, Nov. 6 and will be on display until Nov. 19.
Each tree was designed and created by a local individual.
"We have 37 beautiful trees from different businesses and non-profits and churches in the area. They really worked hard and it's a beautiful, beautiful display," said Margaret O'Neal, Executive Director for United Way of Southern West Virginia.
The trees are set up in the former K&W Cafeteria in the Crossroads Mall. A dollar donation gives you the chance to vote on your favorite tree.
The money will go to the United Way of Southern West Virginia. The event wraps up Nov. 19 with a live auction. All proceeds benefit the United Way.
