CHARLESTON --  The West Virginia Music Hall of Fame's third induction ceremony will be held Saturday, Nov. 21 at the Culture Center in Charleston.

Hall of Fame Director, Michael Lipton said inductees Doc and Chickie Williams, The Bailes Brothers, Larry Combs, and Nat Reese are expected to appear live on stage. He adds,

"It's almost going to be a homecoming," Lipton said. "Kathy Mattea and Charlie McCoy are going to co-host the event."

In the deceased category, Don Redman, Hawkshaw Hawkins and Frank Devol will be honored.

And, Lipton promised a star-studded group of presenters.

"Bill Withers is coming back," he said. "We're really excited about that. He's going to present the award to Don Redman. Actor Fred Willard is going to be here presenting Frank DeVol's award."

Jean Shepard, Hawkshaw Hawkins widow, will be celebrating her birthday the night of the ceremony. It will also be the fortieth anniversary of her first appearance on the "Grand Ol' Opry".

Tickets for The West Virginia Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony are available at Taylor Books in Charleston or by calling the hall of fame office at (304) 342-4412.
