WASHINGTON, Pa. -- A Washington County Jury has sentenced Terrell Yarbrough, 29, to life in prison for the deaths Brian Muha and Aaron Land back in 1999.

Yarbrough tearfully said he was sorry to the families after the verdict was read and said that he knows he can't undo what has happened.

Kathleen O'Hara, the mother of victim Aaron Land, told Yarbrough that she appreciates his apology.

Chris Muha, the brother of victim Brian Muha, told Yarbrough that his tears won't satisfy him until he shows real change. And Muha's mother, Rachel, told him that he should spend his life trying to be as good as the victims were.

Yarbrough was also found guilty in Ohio, but a court ruled that he must be tried again in Pennsylvania after it was determined that is where the two were killed. His alleged accomplice, Natah Herring, will also be tried in Pennsylvania.

The victims' families had spoken out against the death penalty.

The cost is less to taxpayers to incarcerate him for life than it does to execute him. The cost of legal fees alone to the state during direct appeals runs into the millions.

So he is going to waste good taxpayer money. What does the good book say A eye for a eye.

Ok, so the bleeding hearts let him off. You know if he only got life then he will be out and on the streets in 20 years or less. The boys will still be dead and gone forever and he gets a chance to do it again.
