The charges range from tax evasion to production of child pornography.
BECKLEY- -- A Bluefield doctor is among four people indicted by a federal grand jury.
Randy Brodnik, 47, of Bluefield, Va an osteopathic doctor, faces charges of tax evasion, conspiracy and impeding and obstructing the administration of Internal Revenue laws.
Prosecutors said Brodnik specialized in obstetrics at the Bluefeild Women's Center in Bluefield, West Virginia.
Brodnik and another man are believed to have created and fostered an elaborate employee leasing scheme designed to conceal income from the IRS and other charges.
Brodnik faces 38 years in prison if convicted.
A McDowell County woman was also indicted on federal charges.
Stacey Nicole Farmer, 32, also known as Stacey Wright, is charged with three counts of production and distribution of child pornography.
Federal officials said the crime happened in February and May near the community of Squire in McDowell County.
Farmer faces up to 80 years in prison and a $750,000 fine.
Federal indictments were also handed down for two men who were caught with possession of marijuana while in the federal prison in Raleigh County.
Terrence White, 33, of Chase City, Va., and Roderick Calloway, Jr., 38, of Roanoke, Va. are both charged with being an inmate in possession of the drug.
They face five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
