A 14-year-old freshman at John Marshall High School has been charged after police said he made terroristic threats to two different Marshall County Schools.

MOUNDSVILLE -- A 14-year-old freshman at John Marshall High School has been charged after police said he made terroristic threats to two different Marshall County Schools.
The student is charged with making terroristic threats and disrupting school activities.
According to Marshall County Superintendent Fred Renzella school officials came across a threatening letter Monday afternoon.
"The assistant principal came across a letter, in the boy's bathroom, threatening Sherrard Middle School and John Marshall High School," said Superintendent Renzella.
West Virginia State Police were notified and authorities instructed the school system to evacuate all Marshall County schools.
A message was sent to all parents, on Monday, who have students in Marshall County.
West Virginia State Police, Marshall County Sheriff's Department, Glen Dale Police, and the transportation director were all on scene, Monday.
Chief Deputy Kevin Cecil said both schools were swept and people were allowed to re-enter around 5p.m. Monday.
The 14-year-old student has been suspended pending an expulsion hearing.
