WV Pumpkin Festival Kicks Things Off with Parade

The festival starts Oct. 1.

MILTON -- A beautiful day in Milton, West Virginia for the annual West Virginia Pumpkin Festival parade.

The annual tradition of parading through the downtown streets brings hundreds of residents out to celebrate along the flag-lined streets.

The Cabell-Midland marching band, church groups, pee-wee football teams, fair queens, fire departments and even politicians came to take part in the parade.

The West Virginia Pumpkin Festival itself starts on Thursday Oct. 1 at WV Pumpkin Park in Milton.

We are arriving tomorrow, October 2 for the pumpkin festival in Milton. Can hardly wait! We are meeting Deborah Allen there. Her family lives in Milton.
