CHEAT LAKE -- All sorts of treasures can be found this weekend at Cheat Lake in Monongalia County.

The event includes displays, geode cutting and gem vendors.
The WVU Student Chapter of the Society of Mining held hands on activities for kids.
Organizers say rock collecting is a good, healthy hobby.
"It's more than just rocks, as you can tell the rocks are pretty, they're not just a piece of stand stone there's more in mother Earth more than you think there is," says Dave Phillips, Sunset Fossils and Minerals.
The show will open Sunday from 11-5 at the Research Center at Mont Chateau.
