COOL RIDGE --  Deputies say 38-year-old Anna Shores of Cool Ridge was found dead in her home on Sundown Stables Road on Sunday. Investigators say they went to her home after they received a call that a family member had not heard from her all weekend. While they were in route, her boyfriend, 48-year-old Gerald Shulock of Beckley, called to report that he had found her dead. Upon interviewing Shulock, deputies say he confessed to killing Shores. He is charged with first degree murder and is being held in the Southern Regional Jail.
