Triadelphia -- West Virginia state and county officials are working to accommodate the public.
Thursday was West Liberty University's inaugural day of classes at its new Highlands center in Triadelphia. This location is replacing the Warwood Center.
The entire Highlands area was a buzz, also welcoming to the area a new 5,500 square-foot Sheetz store and gas station.
Governor Manchin says West Virginia is excelling in these tough economic times. Next Wednesday, the Highlands will welcome Quaker Steak and Lube to the area with a grand opening celebration.
Manchin, other state officials and county commissioners say it's big business on Ohio County.
