Windsor Heights -- An investigation is underway into a fire that destroyed a home in Brooke County this weekend.

The blaze broke out at 6:15 Saturday evening on Old Short Creek Road near Windsor Heights. The family that lived in the garage apartment was home at the time, but authorities say they escaped without injury.

Brooke County fire officials say they are not sure of the cause at this time. Units from Windsor Heights, Bethany Pike, Beech Bottom, Wellsburg and Mc Kinleyville fought the blaze

Third post by Typical today.

"McKinleyville" is one word, not two - There is also no period at the end of the sentence. Again, I stress that you should proof read WTRF... spell check is not always enough. Forgetting periods??? My third grader doesn't do that anymore!
