MABSCOTT--- --  Deputies say 38-year-old James McClure, Jr. was driving a car on on Wickham Road just outside of Mabscott when he lost control and hit a tree. McClure and a 15-year-old passenger were both trapped in the car. They were transported to Raleigh General Hospital and later flown to Charleston Area Medical Center. Both are intensive care listed in critical condition. The Raleigh County Sheriff's Department is handling the investigation.
