TRIADELPHIA -- The finale of Wheeling Island Idol is this Thursday night, July 23 at 7p.m. in the showroom of the Wheeling Island Hotel Casino Racetrack.

The contestants are ready to win!

Up for grabs is $8,000, which includes $3,000 to the winner, along with a beautiful riding tractor from Bridgeport Equipment and Tool.

All this week on 7News, you'll meet the final five, like you've never seen them before!

In fact, two of the final five work in the same place, Cheddars at the Highlands. Their names are Libby Eddy of West Alexander, PA and Marybeth O’Brian of Cameron.

The girls belted out a tune in front of the customers and got rave reviews!

Even though they're competing against each other in the Wheeling Island Idol season 2 finale, they're still good friends. And they're their co-workers are behind them all the way.
