New Martinsville -- One Northern Panhandle Lawmaker is officially on the road now.

State Senator Jeff Kessler is hoping that road will end at the Governor's Mansion in Charleston.

Kessler revealed a few months ago he would seek to become Governor of West Virginia.

He is also an attorney in Marshall County.

Sunday's fundraiser in New Martinsville is the official start of his campaign.

cricket, I agree totally with you. Kessler is a total waste. He gives other West Virginians a bad name. I would vote for anyone else before I voted for this waste.

Why can't we come up with a better candidate than this ? I hope there is a good challenger out there who can beat this guy. Look at his voting record , he is not in step with most West Virginians but unfortunately voters who are not following his voting record will vote for him because they recognize the name.
