NUTTER FORT -- Harrison County kids got a head start on summer safety, Saturday.

The sixth annual Harrison County Safety Fair took over the Clarksburg City Park, in Nutter Fort.

Hundreds of families showed up to see the demonstrations, learn more about safety and meet members of local law enforcement agencies.

The fair is held right before school lets out every year and officials also use the fair as a way to get kids more comfortable with law enforcement.

The Harrison County Sheriff's Department sponsors the event.
