CLARKSBURG  -- A Clarksburg couple is making its network television debut Saturday night, showcasing their wedding.

Jamie and Jimmy Shepherd will be featured on Country Music Television's "My Big Redneck Wedding"

Family and friends gathered at BW3s in Bridgeport Saturday to watch a sneak peek of the show.

Producers selected the couple based on their audition tape and spent 11 days filming the couple plan their redneck wedding.

The couple says they had a lot of fun.

"It turned out crazy and it was lot of fun whether we were picked or not," said Bride Jamie, "Different type of wedding. Different than the type of wedding you dream of when you're little."

Her now-husband Jimmy agreed.

"Other weddings I've been too have been nice and everything," he said, "but I wanted a down home atmosphere."

The episode will feature the couple receiving their first home, a double wide trailer and the bride getting a body mold of herself for a wedding gift.

You catch the episode tonight at 8:30 on CMT.

I saw the episode and was relieved that they didn't make West Virginians look quite as bad as I expected... I think the comment about the one night stand and getting "knocked up" was a little trashy.. but if she doesn't care what her kids think of her, why should I?
