Three Prostitution Stings Net 13 Arrests

Wheeling Police and the Ohio County Sheriff's Department send a clear message.

The message is clear, sell yourself and see yourself behind bars. Buy a date and your face and name will be released.Three seperate prostitution stings resulted in 13 arrests in Wheeling, thanks to the efforts of both departments. With the help of undercover officers, police arrested seven women and six men. Wheeling Police Chief Kevin Gessler says this time, the men soliciting were arrested and their names and faces are being made public. Gessler says this investigaton is just the beginning and he plans to hold more stings to keep prostitution off the streets of Wheeling. Those arrested include: Mindy Edwards, Danielle Jane Mielnicki, Leona Colleen Tanner, Tammy Lynn Green, Kathy Lynn Voltz, Christina Marie Butler, Marlin E. Chapline, Robert Robertson, Eugina Furmanski, Norman J. Nolan, Lee T. Cook, Gwaine Richard Folmar and Beth Ann Davis.
