As an inside sales person for The State Journal, Hogue is responsible for cultivating new business from first-time advertisers and working on special projects. In the event-planning portion of the job, she is responsible for working on the details of events, such as receptions, seminars and conferences.
She is a native of Dingess in Mingo County and a graduate of West Virginia University. She started her newspaper career with The Observer Reporter in Washington, Pa. She also has worked for the Dominion Post in Morgantown. She joined The State Journal staff in November 1999.
Hogue and her husband, Rob, reside in St. Albans with their son, Ryan.
